Curt Sofa system
The flexible modular sofa
On a conventional sofa, “re-covering” means an upholsterer, weeks and a four-figure bill. On Curt it means: order a cover, zip open, zip closed. Every module wears its own cover, so only the module that needs a new one gets one. Frame and upholstery stay as they are.
Jet (textured fabric), Barcelona (velvet), Dama (recycled wool) and Sera (wool bouclé) – the same four fabrics every Curt is made of. The new cover doesn't have to match the old fabric: a Curt may wear several. Matching colours for mixing are over at the sofa cushions.
Every cover is a front and a back half. With two covers in different colours, swap the halves – and you have two two-tone modules. Works with any module, in any direction, as often as you like.
With Curt, a stain is usually a question of seating order: turn the module or move it to the other end, done. And when a new cover is needed after all, you change it on your own in a few minutes. It also comes off for professional cleaning.
The Curt module has been the same since day one: 68 × 68 × 34 cm, one shape. That is why every cover fits every module, whenever it was bought. Made to order, delivery in four to six weeks. All modules, sets and fabrics are at the modular sofas by Curt.
Yes. The Curt module has had the same shape and size from the start, so every cover fits every module, older ones included.
No. Every module has its own cover. You order as many covers as you have modules to re-cover – after a stain, usually exactly one.
Open the zip, take off the old cover, pull on the new one, close the zip. You can do it on your own in a few minutes, no tools.
Yes. A Curt may wear several fabrics, and because every cover is two halves, you can also combine halves of different colours and get two-tone modules.
Covers are made to order; allow four to six weeks.
